What stays on your device
Live camera video is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to Rapid Cactus servers. Motion calculations, zone layouts, settings, saved event images, review frames, and false-alarm labels remain in browser storage.
What gets stored
If event saving is enabled, local evidence stays in Event History. You can set retention, delete events, clear them, or clear browser data; clearing browser data can remove local settings and events.
Exports need your action
Nothing is silently saved to Photos or shared elsewhere. Exporting an image or local video clip happens only when you select an export or share action.
Privacy has practical limits
Your browser and device control permissions and storage. Review their settings and the physical placement of any camera you use.
