Start with full frame

By default, Rapid Cactus monitors the full camera image. You can edit zones over the live preview and save their normalized positions locally, so they remain aligned when the preview changes size.

Watch zones

Watch zones identify the parts of the image where motion can trigger alerts, such as a front door or workbench. When at least one enabled Watch zone exists, only the combined Watch area is measured.

Ignore zones

Ignore zones remove their covered area from detection, including when they overlap Watch zones. They are useful for a window, moving tree, or other routine source of motion.

Edit safely

Open Edit, drag a rectangle, then move, resize, name, enable, or delete it. Monitoring pauses while you edit and resumes after Apply. Clear zones restores full-frame detection.
